abstract |
The present invention provides an aqueous resin composition produced by dispersing a vinyl ester resin (A) and a urethane resin (B) having an aromatic ring in an aqueous medium (C), wherein the vinyl ester resin (A) is produced by reacting at least one epoxy resin (a1) selected from the group consisting of a novolac-type epoxy resin and a bisphenol-type epoxy resin with a compound (a2) having an acid group and a polymerizable unsaturated group, and the urethane resin (B) is produced by reacting a polyol (b1) comprising a polyol (b1-1) having an aromatic ring and a polyol (b1-2) having a hydrophilic group with a polyisocyanate (b2). A primer produced using the aqueous resin composition can greatly improve the adhesion of a base material to a cured coating film of an active energy ray-curable composition even when the base material is poorly adhesive. |
