abstract The present invention relates to a composition comprising an aromatic compound having high heat- and chemical-resistance and a method for preparing a protective thin film using same. The protective thin film prepared from the inventive composition is capable of maintaining its physical shape with no thermal deformation even when exposed to high heat of 300C or greater, shows excellent chemical resistance against an acid, a base or an organic solvent, and maintains the shape of an exposed surface during plasma treatment, thereby effectively functioning as a protective thin film for the protection of an underlying material.
