The present invention addresses the problem of providing: a dispersant-containing carbon material film which enables the easy formation of a carbon material film, such as a CNT, that does not contain a dispersant or contains a dispersant in an extremely small amount; and a method for producing a carbon material film, such as a patterned carbon material film, using the dispersant-containing carbon material film. The dispersant-containing carbon material film is characterized by containing a stilbene-type or azobenzene-type dispersant having light responsiveness and represented by general formula (I) [wherein R 1 to R 6 independently represent a hydrogen atom or a linear C 1-5 or branched C 3-6 alkyl group; A represents a carbon atom or a nitrogen atom; X represents an anion; and n represents such a numeral value that nX can have a valency of -2]. |
