abstract A cyanoacrylate composition, comprising: (a) at least one 2-cyanoacrylate ester; and (b) at least one monoether of a hydroxyl-terminated ethylene glycol-propylene glycol copolymer. The composition can be applied to a variety of materials and is particularly suitable as a biomedical adhesive. The invention also provides a method of closing a wound comprising, applying to the wound the above 2-cyanoacrylate ester composition.
