Provided is a fiber-reinforced plastic assembly having an assembly part (BP1) obtained by securing fiber-reinforced resin molded articles together by ultrasonic welding, the fiber-reinforced resin molded articles containing carbon fiber and a thermoplastic resin as a matrix, the fiber-reinforced plastic assembly being characterized in that, when a resin assembly having an assembly part (BP2) obtained by securing resin molded articles essentially composed of a thermoplastic resin together by ultrasonic welding is used as a reference, (i) the tensile shear strength in the assembly part (BP1) of the fiber-reinforced plastic assembly is in the range of three to eight times the tensile shear strength in the assembly part (BP2) of the resin assembly, and (ii) the cross tensile strength in the assembly part (BP1) of the fiber-reinforced plastic assembly is in the range of two to five times the cross tensile strength in the assembly part (BP2) of the resin assembly. |
