abstract The present invention provides a prognosis diagnosis method of breast cancer, comprising: measuring the expression quantity of ER-α36 in tumor tissue of a breast cancer patient, wherein when ER-α36 is high in expression, it indicates that the patient has the risk of breast cancer recurrence in situ or metastasis. The method of the present invention has guiding significance in a prognosis for a breast cancer patient.
