The present invention provides a method for continuously producing cyclic carbonate that makes it possible to suppress the generation of glycol during the cyclic carbonate synthesis reaction and to efficiently obtain high-purity cyclic carbonate even by simple purification. A method for continuously producing cyclic carbonate in which a catalyst is loaded into a fixed-bed tube reactor, carbon dioxide and epoxide are continuously fed into the fixed-bed tube reactor and brought into contact with the catalyst, and the reaction solution in the fixed-bed tube reactor is continuously withdrawn, wherein the production method is characterized in being provided with a pretreatment step for bringing a pretreatment solution containing cyclic carbonate into contact with the catalyst before feeding carbon dioxide and epoxide into the fixed-bed tube reactor, and removing the glycol generated to outside the system. |
