abstract A made-to-order system (10) for cosmetics is provided with: a color detection means (12) for detecting the color of an object to be detected; an input means for inputting the color of a cosmetic to be compounded; a blending ratio setting means (14) for generating a blending ratio for compounding, from multiple kinds of cosmetic compositions, a cosmetic which will assume the color inputted by the input means; and a cosmetic compounding device (20) for compounding a cosmetic by discharging each of the multiple kinds of cosmetic compositions via a positive-displacement-type pump and mixing the discharged cosmetic compositions so that the blending ratio generated by the blending ratio setting means (14) is achieved. This makes it possible to efficiently supply a cosmetic that conforms to the color desired by a customer. It is preferable that the made-to-order system 10) for cosmetics is further provided with a display means for displaying the color detected by the color detection means (12).
