The invention relates to chemical methods for immobilizing therapeutic drugs on the surface of detonation nanodiamonds with application of additional solubilising coatings (PEG, phosphorylated PEG, phospholipids) or without said coatings, which subsequently can be used for imparting prolonged action or targeted delivery of the therapeutic drug. The method for immobilizing therapeutic drugs on the surface of detonation nanodiamonds is based on preparing a suspension of detonation nanodiamonds and a therapeutic drug by dissolving in an organic or water-organic solvent, followed by evaporating of the resulting suspension of the therapeutic drug with nanodiamonds and drying, performing chemisorption of therapeutic drugs comprising -NH2, -NH3, -СООН, -COONA, -CONH2, -ОН, and -С=O groups on the oxidized surface of detonation nanodiamonds. Solubilising coatings comprising polyethylene glycols, phosphorylated polyethylene glycols or phospholipids, are applied to the detonation nanodiamond surface containing the therapeutic drug introduced by chemisorption. |
