abstract The present invention enhances the conversion accuracy of an analog-to-digital converter. A correction signal voltage and a voltage resulting from the attenuation, by an attenuation circuit (21), of the correction signal voltage by a fixed attenuation rate are generated, and each voltage is input to an analog-to-digital conversion unit (23). A correction unit (20a) receives the digital output from the analog-to-digital conversion unit (23), retrieves a correction coefficient (W i ) for each bit from the analog-to-digital conversion unit (23) on the basis of an adaptive control algorithm, and uses the retrieved correction coefficient (W i ) to correct the digital output from the analog-to-digital conversion unit (23).
