A compound represented by general formula (1) is a red light-emitting material that has a high luminous efficiency. R 1 to R 8 each represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent group, at least one from among R 1 to R 8 being a group represented by general formula (2). Ar 1 represents a phenylene group or a naphthylene group, n1 represents 0 or 1, and R 11 to R 20 represent a hydrogen atom or a substituent group. |
