titleOfInvention Optical member provided with anti-reflection film
abstract [Problem] To provide an optical member that comprises an anti-reflection film having excellent production suitability and sufficient optical characteristics. [Solution] This optical member (1) comprises: a transparent base material (30); and an anti-reflection film (40) formed on the surface of the transparent base material (30). The anti-reflection film (40) includes: a gradient refractive index structure layer (10), the refractive index of which gradually increases toward the transparent base material (30) side in the thickness direction; and an interference layer (20) for suppressing reflected light by interference, the interference layer being arranged between the gradient refractive index structure layer (10) and the transparent base material (30). The refractive index of the transparent base material (30) is different from the refractive index of the gradient refractive index structure layer (10) on the side closest to the transparent base material. The refractive index of the interference layer (20) changes along the thickness direction, and, at the boundary with the gradient refractive index structure layer (10) and the boundary with the transparent base material (30), the refractive index values of the interference layer are discontinuous with the refractive index of the gradient refractive index structure layer and the refractive index of the transparent base material, respectively, and the value on the gradient refractive index structure layer side is different from the value on the transparent base material side.
