Provided is a control method capable of enhancing and/or suppressing the expression of a target gene in cyanobacteria. One mode of the control method for the expression of the target gene according to the present invention is a method for expressing the target gene with cyanobacteria as a host. An expression control sequence with a length of 12-50 bases is inserted on the downstream side of the base sequence that functions as a promoter and on the upstream side of the start codon of said target gene. |
