Production of myxopyronin and of its derivatives |
abstract |
The invention provides a process for producing myxopyronin and derivatives of myxopyronin by providing synthetic pathway enzymes in a microorganism or in vitro, e.g. extracellularly. Myxopyronin and derivatives of myxopyronin in the second embodiment can be produced by cultivating a microorganism expressing at least partially modified enzymes which are modified e.g. by inactivation and/or change of activity of at least one enzyme of the enzymes and/or of at least one domain of one of these enzymes and/or of at least one catalytic center of one of these domains.Further, a precursor compound can be added to a microorganism expressing the synthetic pathway enzymes in which at least one catalytic domain is inactivated. |
