Provided are a precoding matrix indicator (PMI) feedback method, receiving end and transmitting end, the method comprising: the receiving end selects a precoding matrix W from a codebook based on a reference signal, the phase of φ n in the W being adjusted using a coefficient α, the φ n representing the phase difference between the weighted values of the transmission signals for the same transport layer transmitted by the first and second aerial groups of the transmitting end; n is a nonnegative integer and Q is a positive integer in formula I; the first and second aerial groups belong to the same multi-aerial system; and the receiving end transmits the PMI to the transmitting end, such that the transmitting end determines the W according to the PMI. By using a coefficient α to adjust the phase of φ n , the size of a codebook set suitable for different aerial configurations can be increased, thus improving the PMI feedback precision of the receiving end. |
