abstract |
The invention concerns the use of a compound of formula Sb x Fe 1 O y (I) in which x varies from 0.4 to 1 inclusive and y varies from 1.6 to 4 inclusive, as a catalyst for catalysing the ammoxidation reaction of an alcohol of the following formula (II) CH2=C(R 1 )-CH 2 -OH (II), in which R 1 represents a hydrogen atom or a methyl radical, into a nitrile of the following formula (III) CH 2 =C(R 1 )-C≡N (III) in which R 1 has the same meaning as in formula (II) above, said reaction being carried out in the gaseous phase, said gaseous phase comprising at least oxygen and ammonia. It also concerns the method for the ammoxidation of an alcohol of formula (II) using a compound of formula (I) as catalyst. |
