A barrier component (2) is provided at the side edge of the face mask to prevent the inhaled or exhaled air from seeping into or leaking out from the side edge of the face mask when in use, thus allowing air to be completely filtered through the face mask, and improving air tightness and filtration efficiency of the face mask.
