abstract Provided are a data searching method and system for a cloud education platform. The above-mentioned method comprises the following steps: a special data extraction server traversing data in a teaching data memory in the manner of an infinite loop, obtaining special data in accordance with a first rule according to a GUID list which is maintained thereby, and storing the special data in a special data memory; an index data processing server traversing the special data in the special data memory in the manner of an infinite loop, and generating a special data index table according to the special data; according to the special data index table, the index data processing server generating a metadata index table in accordance with a second rule, and generating an expression data index table in accordance with a third rule; and when a user searches for data, according to query information input by the user, a query server querying the metadata index table and the expression data index table in sequence from the index data processing server, so as to obtain an initial query result, and the query server obtaining a final query result according to an evaluation algorithm and the initial query result.
