titleOfInvention Systems and methods for network-based calculation and reporting of metabolic risk
abstract Systems and methods are provided for generating metabolic risk reports using a Beta Cell Responsiveness Score. A model for calculation of a Beta Cell Responsiveness Score is generated using a sample population. The Beta Cell Responsiveness Score may measure the appropriateness of an individual's beta cell insulin production in light of the individual's insulin resistance in such a way that it is understandable and clinically relevant. This may increase individuals' compliance with treatment recommendations and allow clinicians to more accurately assess where an individual's metabolic function lies along the spectrum of normal to pre-diabetic to diabetic.
