titleOfInvention | Cyclic phosphonate compound and method for manufacturing same |
abstract | The purpose of the present invention is to provide a pentaerythritol diphosphonate compound that can be produced by a method with outstanding industrial productivity and that possesses the following characteristics: having improved heat resistance against phenomenon such as halogen gas production, which is a major problem when mixing with resins, and burning caused by this halogen gas production; imparting a high degree of flame resistance; and containing essentially no halogen component. Also provided is a method for manufacturing such a compound. The present invention is a cyclic phosphonate compound represented by general formula (1) and a method for manufacturing such a compound, wherein the compound is characterized in that the total halogen content of the compound is no higher than 300 ppm. (In the formula, X 1 and X 2 are the same or different and are aromatic substituted alkyl groups represented by the general formula (2).) (In the formula, AL is a linear or branched aliphatic hydrocarbon group with a carbon number of 1-5 and may also include an unsaturated bond, and Ar is a phenyl group, naphthyl group, or anthryl group, which may also include substituents. n represents an integer from 1 to 3, and Ar may be bonded to any carbon atom in AL.) |
