abstract The present invention addresses the problem of discovering a short chain peptide with an anti-aging effect and providing a novel anti-aging agent containing said peptide as an active ingredient. It was found that peptides, which have at least one kind of effect selected from a group consisting of fibroblast proliferation-promoting effects, hyaluronic acid production-promoting effects and collagen gel shrinkage effects and are obtained from an amino acid sequence represented by ELKLIFLHRLKRLRKRLKRK (Sequence No. 1), a partial sequence thereof, or a derivative or salt thereof are useful as active ingredients for anti-aging agents.
