titleOfInvention Automated peripheral nerve stimulator and automation method
abstract The present patent application relates to a nerve stimulator with an automated current level control. The main use of the proposed peripheral nerve stimulator is for assisting local anaesthesia, which is also known as plexus block anaesthesia. The proposed invention facilitates the use of a stimulator to assist local anaesthetic procedures, since it increases the usefulness of the stimulator in that it automates the adjustment of the current level. This automation makes it easier for the anaesthesiologist to use the peripheral nerve stimulator, since it allows blocking peripheral nerves without the help of an assistant, with the same quality and precision as if the assistant was present.
