titleOfInvention Mutated polypeptide, strain of bacteria containing same, and methods for simultaneously detecting different metal cations
abstract The invention relates to a mutated polypeptide, to strains containing same, and to methods for simultaneously detecting metal cations, for example Au, Cu, Ag, Hg, Pb, Cd, Co and Zn, in samples, wherein the polypeptide comprises a substitution of serine by cisteine in position 77 of SEQ ID N° 1 or SEQ ID N° 2; and wherein said protein has transcriptional regulatory activity, for example GolS or CueR. The polypeptide detects the metals as monovalent and divalent metal cations.
