titleOfInvention Method for culturing and selecting microorganisms and facility for the implementation thereof
abstract The invention relates to a method and to a facility for selecting microorganisms, including the following steps: a) providing a population of microorganisms having a plurality of types of microorganisms; b) supplying a liquid aqueous substance for receiving said population of microorganisms; c) feeding a predetermined culture medium into said liquid aqueous substance; and d) promoting the multiplication of the microorganisms of one of said types, which are suitable for said predetermined culture medium. In addition, another liquid substance that is immiscible with said liquid aqueous substance is provided; and between step c) and step d), said liquid aqueous substance and said other liquid substance are fed into one another, according to step c'), such as to disperse, in said other liquid substance, aqueous substance droplets substantially containing a mean of a single microorganism.
