abstract The present invention relates to an animal model for evaluating hemostatic efficacy and the use thereof and, more particularly, to an animal model for evaluating hemostatic efficacy for inducing hemorrhage in the common carotid artery (CCA) or the superior sagittal sinus (SSS), and a screening method and an efficacy evaluation method of a hemostatic agent using the animal model for evaluating efficacy. The animal model for evaluating hemostatic efficacy, according to the present invention, enables rapid and continuous observation of the hemostatic efficacy of the hemostatic agent without having side effects, and thus can be useful for the screening and the efficacy evaluation of the hemostatic agent.
