abstract |
Methods and compositions of this invention relate to suppressing Ca 2+ -Release-Activated- Ca 2+ (CRAC) channel activity using novel compounds of Formula (I): Compounds of formula (I) have been shown to modulate calcium transport through the CRAC channel. The function of the CRAC channel is important for the immune response and is largely limited to cells of the immune system. Accordingly, in one aspect, there is provided a method for suppressing immunity in a mammal in need thereof comprising administering a compound of Formula (I) in an amount sufficient to inhibit CRAC channel activity. Also provided are pharmaceutical compositions and kits comprising compounds of formula (I). |
