abstract Disclosed herein is a method for electrophotographic printing, the method comprising: transferring, separately, from a photo imaging plate, a plurality of images formed from different colored electrostatic ink compositions to an intermediate transfer member to form a print image on the intermediate transfer member; providing a print substrate that has been wetted with a protic solvent; transferring the print image to the print substrate. Also disclosed herein is an apparatus for electrophotographic printing.
