abstract |
Provided is a method for producing a dried product of an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, whereby it becomes possible to achieve excellent stress cracking resistance while reducing an environmental load.nA method for producing a dried product of an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer, comprising: a polymerization step of carrying out the solution polymerization of ethylene and tetrafluoroethylene in at least one fluorinated organic solvent selected from the group consisting of perfluorocarbon, hydrofluorocarbon, hydrochlorofluorocarbon and hydrofluoroether using a water-soluble chain transfer agent to produce a slurry in which microparticles of an ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymer are dispersed; and an evaporation step of evaporating a volatile component from the slurry while avoiding the contact of the slurry with water. |
