abstract |
Provided are: a coating solution for forming an alkali barrier layer, which can prevent the warpage of a glass substrate and has an alkali barrier property; and an article, in which an alkali barrier layer formed using the coating solution is formed on a glass substrate. A coating solution for forming an alkali barrier layer, which comprises (A) at least one matrix precursor selected from the group consisting of an alkoxysilane and a hydrolysate thereof, (B) scale-like silica particles and (C) a liquid medium, wherein the content (solid content) of the scale-like silica particles (B) relative to the total content of the matrix precursor (A) and the scale-like silica particles (B) is 5 to 90 mass%. |
