Provided are a curing material that does not require melting at high temperature, that minimizes migration of plasticizers, and that is curable within a short time; a wire harness employing the curing material as a waterproofing agent; and a production method for the same. The curing material contains at least a chain transfer agent, the chain transfer agent containing (a) a compound the molecule of which includes a polyether structure, and two or more urethane bonds or two or more urea bonds, and (b) a metal-containing compound, the solubility parameter of the curing material being 9.4 or above, and when the curing material is used in applications involving contact with a resin containing a plasticizer, it is possible for migration of the plasticizer into the curing material to be minimized. From an electrical wire bundle of a plurality of bundled insulated electrical wires of a conductor sheathed by a sheathing material comprising an insulator, a portion of the sheathing material is stripped, the curing material is supplied to an exposed conductor portion in which the internal conductor has been exposed, and the surface of the curing material is irradiated with light while sheathed by a protective member formed from a light transmissive resin containing a plasticizer, curing the curing material to form a waterproof part and produce a wire harness. |
