The present invention relates to a method for preparing a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder and a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder prepared by the method, the method comprising the steps of: (a) introducing a lithium precursor, an iron precursor, and a phosphorus precursor into a glycerol solvent so as to prepare a mixed solution; and (b) introducing the mixed solution into a reactor and heating same so as to synthesize a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder at a pressure of 1 bar or more and less than 10 bars. The present invention is configured such that a reaction can be conducted at a relatively low pressure in comparison with the conventional hydrothermal synthesis, supercritical water method, and glycothermal method, and thus can ensure process safety and economical advantage without using a high-temperature, high-pressure reactor and also can easily prepare a lithium iron phosphate nanopowder having a uniform particle size and controlled particle size distribution. |
