abstract Provided are a rapid recovery method and an apparatus therefor. The rapid recovery method comprises: evaluating the data downloading quality of a plurality of wireless access technologies of the current wireless access technologies, so as to obtain a candidate wireless access technology list; judging whether the packet service downloading quality of the current wireless access technologies becomes poor; and if the packet service downloading quality of the current wireless access technologies becomes poor, then selecting one of other access technologies from the candidate wireless access technology list and performing switching. The rapid recovery method and the apparatus therefor provided in the present invention can realize seamless switching of wireless access technologies and keep continuous data transmission.
