titleOfInvention Hair dye comprising dried indigo leaves and hair dyeing method using same
abstract [Problem] To provide a hair dye, which contains no chemicals but uses only natural materials, is gentle to both the skin and hair and has a sufficient hair dyeing power, and a hair dyeing method.n[Solution] A hair dye characterized by comprising a combination of a dried indigo leaf powder, which contains indican and indican degrading enzyme, with an indigo leaf powder which is obtained by drying indigo leaves at a low temperature not exceeding 50 o C without inactivating indican degrading enzyme. A hair dyeing method characterized by comprising: heating indigo leaves to inactivate indican degrading enzyme; then drying the indigo leaves to give an indigo leaf powder containing indican; adding to the indigo leaf powder thus obtained an indigo leaf powder, which is obtained by drying indigo leaves at a low temperature not exceeding 50 o C without inactivating indican degrading enzyme, and an appropriate amount of water; kneading the resultant mixture to give a paste; applying the paste to the hair; and then washing the hair.
