abstract |
The present invention relates to a cathode material for a lithium secondary battery and a method for manufacturing the same, the cathode material comprising: a silicon oxide particle (SiO x , 0<x<2); fibrous carbon grown on the silicon oxide particle; and a carbon coating layer formed on the surfaces of the silicon oxide particle and the fibrous carbon. By using the cathode material in the present invention for a cathode of a lithium secondary battery, conductivity can be improved, and a physical bonding force between the silicon oxide particle and the fibrous carbon is enhanced, thereby solving a problem of fibrous carbon separation due to the volume expansion of the silicon oxide and improving battery performance. |
