The invention relates to a method for operating a biogas system in which liquid manure from agriculture and/or fermentation pulp, which has already been partially degassed in a preceding fermentation process, and/or sewage sludge and/or waste from food production is/are fermented or further fermented as a fermentation substrate in another fermentation process, as well as to an apparatus, according to the preamble of claims 1 and 8. According to the invention, in a first step the solid phase of the liquid manure or the fermentation pulp previously partially degassed or the sewage sludge or the food waste is separated from the liquid phase thereof, the solid phase is then introduced into the digester of the biogas system, the liquid phase is fed to a cultivation device containing fast-growing aquatic plants, and at least some of the aquatic plant biomass, which can be regularly removed from the cultivation device, is fed to the digester of the biogas system filled with the solid phase. |
