abstract The present invention relates to a key moving keyboard and an input method applying the key moving keyboard. The key moving keyboard comprises: a keyboard substrate, at least one moving plane and several keys. The moving plane is installed on the keyboard substrate by using a sliding rail, and moves in different directions under the constraint of the sliding rail. The several keys are fixedly installed on the moving plane and used for correspondingly outputting different characters after corresponding keys move to different positions by using the moving plane and the keys are pressed. By means of the key moving character keyboard designed by the present invention, because fingers are basically fixed on the keys and does not move, by pushing the moving plane, all required letters and symbols of the current keyboard can be all input, and the typing efficiency is high. Meanwhile, the combination of keyboard input and mouse input implements integration of a mouse and a keyboard.
