abstract | The multilayered pouch mat (1) for greening internal and external spaces is composed of a first elastic braided layer (3), a second layer (4) made of felt-like fleece and a third layer (5) made of a hydrophobic fabric film. This pouch mat (1) makes possible a vertical, even overhanging, greening of spaces without water dripping upon irrigation. Before being fixed to the wall or ceiling, the pouch mat (1) together with the gel granules (6.a) is, in a water bath, converted with water by a factor of 180 to give a pure hydrogel (6.b). Thereafter, the pouch mat (1) is, via the grid apertures (9), stretched across and screwed onto the wall-distancing and fastening system (10, 11). The multilayered pouch mat (1) together with the gel granule filling (6) in the patch chambers (2) and the complete irrigation tube system (8) is fully preassembled and stored in the rolled-up state until use. |
