abstract Provided are a method and device for automatically searching for a page in a paper notebook. The device comprises: an image shooting unit for shooting a notebook page to obtain an image of the notebook page; a barcode detecting and decoding unit for detecting a barcode on the image of the notebook page and decoding the detected barcode at the same time to obtain decoded content; a page storage unit for establishing a database according to the page image and allocating a pre-stored address for storing the decoded content in the database; a query and analysis unit for searching, according to the decoded content obtained by the barcode detecting and decoding unit, for whether there is a decoded content in the preset database matching the decoded content obtained by the barcode detecting and decoding unit; and a page acquisition unit for acquiring a notebook page associated with the decoded content in the database. In the present invention, a required electronized notebook page can be quickly found through a decoded content only by shooting a page of a paper notebook and detecting and decoding a barcode thereon.
