Provided is a technique that enables a pozzolan admixture to be universally obtained from a variety of raw materials. The pozzolan admixture is formed from feedstock containing coal gangue. The feedstock contains at least SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 , CaO and SO 3 . The SiO 2 , Al 2 O 3 and CaO form a composition within an area bounded by connecting points J, K, L and M on the triangular coordinates shown in fig. 1A, and the compositional ratio of SO 3 , in terms of weight, is 1/6 to 1/20 of the total weight of SiO 2 + Al 2 O 3 + CaO. After sintering, the pozzolan admixture takes an amorphous form in which the specific surface area is at least 8000 cm 2 /g. |
