[Problem] To provide a lithium ion measurement/examination method in which an aqueous solution of a biological sample, an environmental sample, or the like, is used as an analyte, a lithium reagent composition is used as a colour-development-reaction reagent solution, and observation can be performed visually or using a simple chromatometer. [Solution] This lithium measurement method is characterized in that: a lithium reagent composition characterized by being an aqueous solution including a compound represented by F28 tetraphenylporphyrin, a pH adjustor, and a pH buffer, is brought into contact with an analyte, a reaction solution thereof is irradiated with white light or exposed to light, and a distinct colour change at that moment is visually detected or simply detected using a chromatometer; and an aqueous solution including blood serum and a blood plasma test sample is used as the analyte. |
