titleOfInvention Method for forming coating film including nitrogen monoxide on surface of material by using catecholamine
abstract The present invention relates to a technique for forming, on the surface of a material to be coated, a coating film having a diazeniumdiolate functional group by using catecholamine. The present invention can provide a technique for manufacturing a thin coating film capable of regulating and releasing nitrogen monoxide on the surfaces of various materials, and the manufacturing technique has a simple process and low cost and thus is economical. Additionally, the coating film manufactured according to the method of the present invention can stably provide nitrogen monoxide in an in-vivo environment and is suitable for use on the human body since the present invention is not cytotoxic. Particularly, an in-vivo insert among materials for preparing the coating layer on the surface thereof, according to the present invention, is expected to be effectively utilized through regulation of the release of nitrogen monoxide for the purpose of medical treatment and health including treatment of ischaemic disorders such as arteriosclerosis and the like, erection control, antimicrobial treatment, antiviral treatment, and wound healing.
