abstract |
A vehicle that performs idling stop, that prevents deterioration caused by sub-battery heat, and reduces noise generated when a relay is switched. The vehicle comprises: an engine (21); a starter motor (22); a starter battery (1) that supplies power to the starter motor (22); a reserve power storage system (10) connected in parallel to the starter battery (1); an alternator (23) that regeneratively generates power and charges the starter battery (1) and the reserve power storage system (10); an engine room (5) having the engine (21) arranged therein; and a cabin (6) having the reserve power storage system (10) arranged therein. The reserve power storage system (10) includes: a power storage unit (2) for electrical components, connected in parallel to the starter battery (1) via a relay (3); and a relay control circuit (11) that controls the relay (3) to ON when the alternator (23) is generating power and controls the relay (3) to OFF when the engine (21) is being restarted. The relay (3) is arranged in the engine room (5). |
