The wearable device comprises a substrate comprising a flexible solid that is substantially planar, and markings embossed into the substrate and defining respective protrusions substantially uniformly distributed over a portion of a surface of the substrate, and wherein the markings are indicative of a time sequence associated with traveling a predetermined distance during a predetermined time interval.
