titleOfInvention Aircraft bathroom unit
abstract The present invention provides an aircraft bathroom unit (20) that is advantageous in increasing the number of seats. In the bathroom (20A) of this aircraft bathroom unit (20), a toilet (42) is disposed anterior to a back surface wall (34) in a manner so that it is possible to be seated facing a front surface wall (36). A washbasin (50) is provided to a location of a second lateral wall (30) between the toilet (42) and the front surface wall (36), and the washbasin (50) has a bowl (54). Between a bottom wall (26) and the bowl (54) is provided a bottom housing section (60) that includes a contour matching the contour of a portion of the bowl (54) at the back surface wall (34) side when seen in a plan view. A garbage can device (74) comprising a garbage can (70) and a fire extinguisher (72) is provided to the bottom housing section (60). The toilet (42) is disposed inclined at an angle (θ) with respect to the second lateral wall (30) in a manner such that a central line (L) passing through the center in the widthwise direction of the toilet (42) becomes more distant from the second lateral wall (30) with proximity to the front surface wall (36) side in relation to the second lateral wall (30).
