titleOfInvention | Liquid crystal display component |
abstract | An optical component (1) with an electric field direction parallel to a liquid crystal layer (6) comprises an upper base plate (2), a lower base plate (5), and the liquid crystal layer (6), wherein the lower base plate (5) is positioned below the upper base plate (2), the liquid crystal layer (6) is positioned between the upper base plate (2) and the lower base plate (5) and comprises a positive or negative liquid crystal medium (3), and the liquid crystal medium (3) comprises at least one optical activity component. Also provided is a liquid crystal optical component, wherein no electrode exists on a base plate of the liquid crystal optical component, and the liquid crystal optical component adopts an FFS display mode. Liquid crystal molecules in an electric field can obtain high power so as to rapidly rotate 90 degrees with a low driving voltage, so that the use requirements of a display on a low driving voltage can be met, and a liquid crystal composition between the upper base plate (2) and the lower base plate (5) has low viscosity and a high clearing point. |
