abstract The invention relates to a wastegate valve which has a wastegate flap and a wastegate spindle, wherein the wastegate flap and the wastegate spindle are constituent parts of a single, unipartite moulded body, and wherein the moulded body furthermore has a connecting arm which is arranged between the wastegate flap and the wastegate spindle and which has a plastification region. The invention also relates to a method for installing a wastegate valve of said type into the turbine housing, which has a wastegate duct, of an exhaust-gas turbocharger.
