titleOfInvention | Method for preparing antimicrobial cellulose fiber, fiber produced thereby, and fabric using same |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for preparing an antimicrobial cellulose fiber, a fiber produced thereby, and a fabric using same, the method comprising preparing a reactive antimicrobial compound by allowing a reactive compound to react with an antimicrobial agent having an antimicrobial function, wherein the reactive compound can be chemically bonded to a cellulose fiber, and then the reactive antimicrobial compound can be chemically immobilized on the cellulose fiber through chemical bonding and the resulting compound can be stabilized. The antimicrobial cellulose fiber of the present invention is a human body-friendly material having antimicrobial and deodorizing properties and can be prepared in the form of raw cotton, slivers, rough yarn, spun yarn, woven fabric, knitted fabric, non-woven fabric, and so forth. Also, when the antimicrobial cellulose fiber is mixed with other fibers such as a natural fiber and a synthetic fiber, the antimicrobial cellulose fiber can be applied to products having a variety of uses according to the type, mixing process, and mixing rate of the fiber to be mixed. Moreover, the antimicrobial agent having the antimicrobial function stably binds to the cellulose fiber by means of the reactive compound through chemical bonding, and is thus not easily detached from the fiber by washing, thereby maintaining the antimicrobial function for a long time. |
