abstract | The invention relates to an apparatus (1) for the ordered and unordered introduction of a gas, a gas mixture or a fluid into a liquid, in which individual bubbles of a gas or gas mixture or droplets of a fluid are introduced into the liquid without coalescing, and in which no energy is required to stretch a membrane or to overcome the frictional resistances during the passage through the outer shell of a ceramic aerator. The apparatus comprises a pressure chamber (10), a perforated sheet (11) or a monolithic solid (11), either of which forms an upper side of the pressure chamber (10), an aeration pan (12) or a continuous base plate, either of which forms a lower side of the pressure chamber (10), an air feed line (30) to feed the gas or gas mixture into the pressure chamber (10), a drainage line (20) to remove the liquid from the pressure chamber (10), and a multitude of outlet elements (40) for the gas or gas mixture which are arranged in the perforated sheet (11) or in the monolithic solid (11), spaced apart from the aeration pan (12) or the continuous base plate, such that the pressure chamber (10) is essentially free of outlet elements (40). |
