abstract Provided are: a fire-resistant resin composition that contains thermoplastic polyurethane, that does not contain halogen elements or talc, that requires few essential components, and that exhibits superior fire resistance characteristics and does not melt and drip (trickle) during combustion; and a molded body of said resin composition. The halogen-free fire-resistant resin composition comprises as essential components thereof: a thermoplastic polyurethane (a); an organic phosphate (b); and a melamine derivative (c). The halogen-free fire-resistant composition and molded body thereof are characterized by: the content of the thermoplastic polyurethane (a) being in the range of 55-70 mass%; the content of the organic phosphate (b) being in the range of 18-30 mass%; the content of the melamine derivative (c) being in the range of 10-30 mass%; and by the mass ratio (b)/(c) being in the range of 1/1-2/1.
