An emulsion composition for producing a glove, which contains an elastomer (1) and a poly(acrylonitrile butadiene) (2) at a component (1)/component (2) ratio of 70/30 to 90/10 by weight, wherein the elastomer (1) is a carboxylated acrylonitrile butadiene elastomer, contains an acrylonitrile residue and an unsaturated carboxylic acid residue in amounts of 30 to 40 wt% and 3 to 8 wt%, respectively, relative to the weight of the elastomer, has such a property that the content of sulfur element capable of being detected by a neutralization titration method in a burned product of the elastomer is 1 wt% or less relative to the weight of the elastomer, and has a Mooney viscosity (ML (1+4) (100˚C)) of 100 to 220, and wherein the poly(acrylonitrile butadiene) (2) has a weight average molecular weight of 7,000 to 500,000 in terms of styrene; and a glove which comprises the emulsion composition and therefore has excellent chemical resistance and flexibility. |
